      With the Olympic Games drawing to a close the last thing we want is for you to get withdrawal symptoms. Fear not… in just a few days time the London 2012 Paralympic Games will start, with teh opening ceremony on the 29th August.

      There are a number of ways you can get involved:

      Tickets still available include those for sports at ExCeL such as Wheelchair FencingSitting VolleyballBoccia andPowerlifting. These tickets include a £10 ExCeL Day Pass, giving you the opportunity to see up to five sports on the same day. Tickets for the Paralympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies in the higher price brackets also remain. Buy tickets to the London 2012 Paralympic Games

      The Paralympics will have their own Torch Relay. The 24-hour Relay will see the Paralympic Flame carried 87 miles by 580 inspirational Torchbearers, working in teams of five, from Stoke Mandeville in Buckinghamshire to London.The Flame will travel through communities in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire before visiting a number of iconic London landmarks, including Piccadilly Circus, Westminster Abbey, Downing Street  and Trafalgar Square – which will host live entertainment and sport screened throughout the Paralympic GamesExplore the route here

      The Opening Ceremony for the Paralympics will prove to be every bit as spectacular as the ceremony for the Olympics. Why not get your friends and family together to experience the start of the Games.
